Universal, Monkeypaw Productions, and the Toronto International Film Festival invite you to the showcase of the NO DRAMA Short Films at TIFF 50.
Five filmmakers from around the world explore horror across cultures, time, environments, and society in a series of short films, featuring performances from Jerry O’Connell, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Josh Tedeku, and more.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Jordan Peele, Universal Pictures President Peter Cramer, and TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey.
The screening will be followed by a moderated Q&A with the NO DRAMA filmmakers.
A global short-film development initiative for writer-directors passionate about horror-centered storytelling, NO DRAMA provides resources and support at every stage of the filmmaking process, with a strong focus on each filmmaker’s individual needs, strengths, and areas of professional growth. The program builds on Universal and Monkeypaw’s shared commitment to supporting breakout filmmakers.
